Kellogg Co. and Huffington Corp., the energy business founded by the late Roy M. Huffington.

     Robert James Warmack, 59

Robert James Warmack, 59, passed December 18, 2010 after suffering a fall at his Idaho Springs home the morning prior.

Born in 1951 to Richard (Jim) and Louise Warmack, Bob dedicated his life in Colorado to education.  He earned his bachelor and first master degree from Adams State College in Alamosa.  As a member of the prestigious James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation, he earned his second master degree from the University of Colorado at Denver.

Bob sought to spread that knowledge to his students and athletes through his coaching and teaching in the Colorado public school system.  Both a boys and girls basketball coach, Bob also had a great love of fly-fishing, Ford trucks, and the Atlanta Braves.

The classroom, however, was Bob’s true passion.  He was a nationally recognized We The People mentor.  During Bob’s 28 years at Clear Creek High School, he led his own class to numerous district titles and one State Championship.  His knowledge of the Constitution and its application ran so deep that even in retirement Bob was called on nationally to mentor in and develop the program.  Through his lifelong dedication to his craft, Bob positively impacted the lives of all lucky enough to have been a student, athlete, colleague, or friend.

He was married to the love of his life, Susan, and will be greatly missed by his two children, Zackary and Rebecca.  He is survived by his brother Dan, sister Jolynn, a large extended family, and countless friends across the country.  Bob famously ended every conversation with “I love you,” and now, as a community it is our turn to say thank you and we love you!
